Embracing New Growth: The Joy of Nurturing

G&V | Value Series | Nurturing

Recently, I’ve been reflecting on fresh beginnings. Though I’m no gardening guru, I do cherish the outdoors—the fresh air, the warmth of nature, and the cheerful songs of our feathered friends.

During my lunch stroll today, I caught a delightful sight: a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker feeding its chicks high in the sun-dappled treetops. The little ones were making a racket, like a lively quartet of trumpets, all in perfect harmony. It was truly a treat!

With this lively image in mind, it’s time to look at our fourth company value, Nurturing. Our values aren’t just some add-ons; they’re woven into the very fabric of who we are. They spring from our shared beliefs and are something we all cherish and uphold.

We are Nurturing

We’re building a company where we can be ourselves and flourish.

Creating a safe and nurturing place to work has always been part of our DNA. The warmth of our welcome and the generosity of spirit has attracted a similar soul and this is driven by our humility. Our humility is the core of our behaviour – from our daily learning and the knowledge we impact to the support and strength of our team. This is where we belong and where everyone is welcome.

Here, we’re building a place where we can all be ourselves and truly thrive. Creating a safe and nurturing environment has always been at our core. Our warm welcome and generous spirit naturally draw like-minded people to us. This warmth, paired with our humility, shapes how we interact—through our daily learning, the knowledge we share, and the strength of our team.

This is where we all belong and where everyone is welcome.

For me, nurturing is our most cherished value, and it’s something I’m always striving to perfect. The support, encouragement, and care we show each other are essential to our collective success. Our Wolf Pack wouldn’t be the same without it. And remember, true nurturing comes with humility—stepping outside our own world and checking our egos at the door.

It’s important to add that we don’t always get it right, but our humility helps us recognise, admit, and learn from our mistakes. After all, none of us has all the answers, and that’s okay.
